About The Position

This part-time role focuses on maintaining the store's appearance and cleanliness, ensuring a positive shopping environment for customers. The team member will be responsible for upholding cleanliness standards, assisting customers, and contributing to various store operations. The position requires a commitment to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a positive store image.

Requirements

  • Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

  • Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards.
  • Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in finding products.
  • Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
  • Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
  • Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
  • Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
  • Mix water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions.
  • Deep clean key areas of the store such as bathrooms, breakrooms, and entryways.
  • Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly, and notify supervisor of supply needs.
  • Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
  • Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
  • Provide a fast and friendly check-out experience and execute cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
  • Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Execute Company policies and standards.
