About The Position

The Store Driver picks, stages, and safely delivers parts to professional customers, picks up returns and cores, and supports sales by distributing flyers and promoting current sales and loyalty programs. The role also collects credit accounts, builds relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, and shares delivery insights with the CPP. In-store responsibilities include assisting walk-in customers, recommending parts or services, supporting upselling and cross-selling, maintaining cleanliness, stocking merchandise, conducting cycle counts, and keeping informed about inventory and new arrivals. The position requires safe driving, effective customer communication, and the ability to work varied days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Requirements

• Speak and write English and communicate effectively with customers, peers, and leadership; Spanish is a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Be able to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Have confidence engaging customers and promoting products.
• Be willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.
• Have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Meet the physical demands of the job, including frequent lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting or moving of up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to professional customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Distribute weekly and monthly sales flyers and promote current sales and loyalty programs.
• Collect credit accounts daily.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers and provide the CPP with insights gained during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and the parking lot.
• Perform general stocking, including truck stocking, back stock, and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
