Position Summary The Store Director is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of the store. This position directs all store operations, including sales growth, customer service, labor management, financial performance, merchandising execution, safety, compliance, and associate development. The Store Director leads department managers and store associates to deliver outstanding customer experiences while achieving company goals and operational excellence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Extensive retail grocery management experience required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent movement throughout all store departments.
• Occasional lifting and carrying of items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to respond effectively to operational and emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all daily store operations.
• Establish and communicate store goals, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Ensure operational standards are consistently executed throughout all departments.
• Monitor store conditions to maintain a clean, safe, and customer-focused environment.
• Lead store initiatives, promotional events, and company programs.
• Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and execution.
• Develop and execute plans to achieve sales, profit, and productivity goals.
• Analyze financial reports, sales trends, labor expenses, and operational metrics.
• Manage labor budgets and staffing levels to meet business needs.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve profitability.
• Control expenses, reduce shrink, and maximize operational efficiency.
• Hold department leaders accountable for financial and operational results.
• Champion a culture of exceptional customer service throughout the store.
