About The Position

The Store Detective role is responsible for Loss Prevention, to prevent and detect theft. This involves following shoppers or staff who behave suspiciously, taking evidence from witnesses, writing short reports, and detaining anyone trying to leave the store with stolen goods. The role requires handling sensitive situations in a professional manner.

Requirements

• Must have Right to Work in the UK
• Experience as a Store Detective essential
• SIA Licence
• UK driving licence
• Must have own transport and be prepared to travel
• Full clean driving licence
• A mature and responsible attitude to work
• Good observational skills
• Ability to use modern surveillance systems, such as CCTV and electronic tags
• Must have a valid PSA licence
