Requirements
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to accurately process transactions and identify parts.
- A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- A willingness to learn, follow established procedures, and contribute to a team.
- A dependable, positive attitude and an interest in helping customers.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive parts knowledge or experience in the automotive industry is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and paper or digital parts catalogs is a plus.
- If new to automotive parts, possess the right attitude, enjoy working with people, and are eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Use parts catalogs and lookup systems to identify correct products and provide recommendations.
- Deliver friendly, knowledgeable service to retail and commercial customers.
- Recommend related products, share current promotions, and identify opportunities to meet additional customer needs.
- Process sales and returns accurately, answer phone inquiries, and assist with customer pickups and commercial delivery coordination.
- Assist with paint mixing and non-application parts requests.
- Receive and organize freight, label and stock inventory, assist with deliveries, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
- Build automotive product knowledge through hands-on experience, training, and collaboration.
