About The Position

The Store Connectivity Manager is responsible for ensuring reliable, high-performing network connectivity for retail/store locations, including environments within hospitals. This role manages end-to-end connectivity processes—from initial site coordination and vendor selection to installation and ongoing support—ensuring seamless internet service delivery and uptime.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in network connectivity, telecom management, or IT infrastructure
  • Experience working with telecommunications carriers, circuit provisioning, and vendor management
  • Understanding of networking concepts (WAN, LAN, circuit types, bandwidth, redundancy)
  • Experience coordinating installations across multiple locations
  • Experience with healthcare or hospital environments
  • Knowledge of structured cabling and inside wiring standards
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on uptime and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives to completion

Responsibilities

  • Identify and establish relationships with primary hospital/site contacts
  • Evaluate and document available connectivity options within each location
  • Review and align on inside wiring requirements and plans
  • Determine if specific vendors are required or mandated for inside wiring
  • Gather all necessary technical and logistical information to enable connectivity deployment
  • Engage with multiple telecommunications carriers to evaluate service options
  • Analyze and recommend the best-fit connectivity solution based on performance, cost, and availability
  • Obtain final approval for selected carrier, bandwidth/speed, and any required cabling contractor
  • Initiate and manage ordering of internet circuits and related services
  • Track order progress and ensure timely delivery
  • Coordinate installation schedules between carrier, hospital/site stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Ensure readiness of site (access, wiring, infrastructure) prior to installation
  • Oversee installation process and verify successful circuit activation while technicians are onsite
  • Validate that service meets required specifications and performance criteria
  • Monitor network circuits to ensure uptime and performance standards
  • Provide first-level troubleshooting for connectivity issues impacting store operations
  • Act as primary escalation point to carriers for outages or service degradation
  • Track and manage incident resolution until service is restored
  • Maintain documentation of network configurations, vendors, and support procedures
