We are looking for a Store Co-Manager to join our team and help us elevate the in-store experience, drive sales, and foster a positive environment for both customers and associates.

Requirements

  • Proficient in the use of technology to successfully engage in customer interactions (Register, Register Keyboard, iPhone, Calculator).
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing or walking around the store.
  • Ability to lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis.
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl on a frequent basis.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ retail management experience
  • Minimum high school graduate or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Elevate the in-store experience by modeling, supervising, and coaching associate and support leaders on behaviors that achieve store goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Act as a thought partner to the Store Manager in the development and implementation of store strategies.
  • Deliver financial plans to drive KPI performance on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Foster an environment of recognition, reinforcing behaviors that meet the customer and business needs.
  • Resolve customer and associate feedback with a sense of urgency.
  • Strategically plan and direct the movement of merchandise responding to customer trends.
  • Communicate store-specific merchandise inventory recommendations to the Store Manager and/or Market Leader.
  • Oversee the execution of sales floor standards, maintenance, and operations.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to identify top talent and ensure the store is staffed to optimal levels.
  • Lead by example and hold the team accountable for following all policies and procedures.
  • Oversee all inventory-related activities including freight receipt, product placement, markdowns, and mark out of stock (MOOS).
  • Oversee all omni activities in store including Charge/Send and Buy Online Pick Up In Store (BOPIS).
  • Utilize the Store Visit Assessment to identify opportunities and create/implement action plans to course correct.
  • Manage all associate timekeeping activities to ensure store labor deliverables are met, including scheduling, forecasting, labor add/reductions, and payroll management.
  • Build a diverse team that meets the needs of the customer experience.
  • Partner with the Store Manager in resolving associate and leadership relations matters.
  • Participate in the Performance Review process by writing and conducting performance reviews for Leads, Supervisors, and Assistant Managers.
  • Build strong networking relationships to effectively recruit top talent for all positions.
  • Create and implement a development strategy that fosters a culture of advanced learning and career development.
  • Assume all responsibilities of the store in the absence of a Store Manager.
  • Co-facilitate store meetings as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and/or Market Leader.
