About The Position

Join the team at Hersheypark Camping Resort, a campground located a few miles down the road from Hersheypark amusement park that features log and deluxe cabins, tent sites, and partial and full-hookup sites. The store clerk is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and accurate service to all guests of the Hersheypark Camping Resort. As a Part-Time Team Member, you will enjoy sweet perks like FREE admission and parking to Hersheypark, discounts on food & shopping, and more as soon as you receive your Employee ID!

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated to perform all aspects of the job at all times
• Must be able to safely operate a golf cart
• Must be able to perform basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Must be friendly, upbeat, work well with other employees, and be able to interact with our guests in a fast-paced environment
• Must have strong conflict-resolution/problem-solving skills
• Must be able to multitask while prioritizing job tasks and assignments
• Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
• Must have the ability to safeguard confidential information

Responsibilities

• Entering sales into the POS system
• Selling cross-destination attraction tickets via the Galaxy system
• Conduct business with guests with a smile, enthusiasm & professionalism
• Stock firewood bundles, kindling, and bags of ice
• Assist in delivering merchandise across the Camping Resort property
• Handle all cash and credit card transactions
• Assist the Manager/Supervisor with store opening and closing procedures
• Stock shelves and assist with rotating products to standard
• Assist with cleaning, sweeping, and mopping of the Country Store
• Perform other job duties as assigned
