Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous customer service, retail, warehouse, distribution, or wholesale experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience or certification is a plus; ability to obtain forklift certification as required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers at the front counter with product selection, pricing, availability, and order processing.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving customer concerns professionally.
  • Enter and process customer orders accurately using company computer systems.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers.
  • Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify orders for accuracy before customer pickup or shipment.
  • Load and unload company and customer vehicles safely.
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, and putting away merchandise.
  • Report inventory, order, or warehouse issues to management promptly.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout the warehouse and sales counter areas.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Obtain and maintain forklift certification as required.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and applicable safety requirements.
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, shipping, and inventory management activities.
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory-control procedures.
  • Prepare and process outbound shipments according to company procedures.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate product quantities and storage locations.
  • Complete outbound customer calls for order follow-up, sales support, and customer service initiatives.
  • Assist customers with order status, product availability, and problem resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, drivers, sales staff, and management.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time.
  • Identify and assist with resolving customer concerns, shipping discrepancies, and inventory issues.
  • Demonstrate initiative and sound judgment when handling day-to-day operational challenges.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
