Under the direction of the General Manager, the Store Clerk is responsible for placing processed donations in the proper area on the sales floor, sorting, boxing, and labeling hangers by type. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness of the sales floor, receiving incoming donations and issuing receipts, and greeting and assisting donors/customers. Key duties also include timely stock rotation, merchandising, monitoring for shoplifting, and adhering to safety and customer service procedures. Additionally, the clerk will handle customer complaints, answer telephones, follow Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) procedures, and respond to emergency situations.
