About The Position

This position is responsible for handling all store functions to ensure the store is operational and providing excellent customer service. Key duties include managing inventory, assisting customers with fabric and trim needs, maintaining store organization and cleanliness, and completing daily operational procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all store functions
  • Ensure the store is operational at 8:00 am
  • Communicate with customers to determine their needs and provide appropriate service
  • Pull selected rolls of fabric/trim and cut specified yardage for customers
  • Perform weekly pillow count and submit to Supervisor for audit
  • Keep store straightened and stocked including overstock
  • Keep wallpaper and remnant bins straightened and stocked including remnants, trim, hardware and pillows
  • Reconcile end of bolt tags daily
  • Receive products into store inventory via Square
  • Work with Inventory Control to maintain store inventory
  • Complete end of day procedures with cash drawer
  • Submit end of day paperwork to Supervisor
  • Lock deposit in night deposit bag
  • Take out trash as needed
  • Sweep floors daily and mop once a month
  • Clean and restock public restroom as needed
  • Perform other duties as directed by management
