About The Position

Marshalls is seeking individuals to maintain a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care. Responsibilities include the operation of the scrubber and buffer, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows. This role adheres to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. The position also involves being cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs. The ideal candidate will role model established customer experience practices, support a positive store culture, and maintain all floor care cleanliness standards. They will also maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the entire store, including the Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms. Adherence to all company policies concerning Health and Safety is required, including refilling essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End. The role requires cross-training in other areas of the store such as the Backroom, Front End, and Sales Floor, and supporting Front End coverage needs. The associate will also adhere to and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards, initiate and participate in store recovery, and follow all operational and loss prevention controls. Communication with management and associates, adherence to labor laws, and participation in safety awareness are also key components of this role. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

Maintaining a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care.
Operating the scrubber and buffer.
Dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
Adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
Being cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store.
Role modeling established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.

Maintaining all floor care cleanliness standards.
Maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the entire store (Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms).

Supporting and responding to all Front End coverage needs.
Adhering and upholding merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
Initiating and participating in store recovery as needed throughout the day.

Communicating accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
Adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, including Associate meal and break period policies.
Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment.
