About The Position
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Store Cashier to join our team at The Hub Taft in Orlando, FL. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for processing transactions accurately and providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with POS systems.
- Knowledge of retail operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
- Operate the cash register and POS system to process sales transactions accurately.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
- Bag merchandise and ensure items are presented neatly.
- Provide information about products and promotions.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Resolve customer issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining store appearance as needed.
