About The Position
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Store Cashier to join our team at The Hub Taft in Orlando, FL. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for processing transactions accurately and providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with a focus on day shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work day shifts.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Knowledge of retail operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and other payment methods accurately.
- Scan items, bag merchandise, and ensure correct pricing.
- Process returns and exchanges according to company policy.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and promotions.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining store appearance when needed.
- Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environment.
