About The Position

As a Store Associate, you bring the Vera Bradley brand to life and serve as the face of the brand. Working with store leadership, you help achieve sales goals while delivering an excellent shopping experience and best-in-class customer service. You uphold Vera Bradley’s core values and contribute to making the world a brighter place through every customer touchpoint.

You recommend products suited to customers’ needs, support store results through add-on selling and customer outreach, and create an engaging in-store experience through product awareness and team selling. You also carry out daily operational procedures, help maintain visual standards, and keep the store organized and inviting. Reliability and adherence to company policies and procedures are expected.

The role involves constant walking and standing, frequent bending, stooping, and reaching, and consistently lifting 10–35 pounds. Occasional lifting of up to 55 pounds and the ability to push or pull more than 55 pounds are also required. Strong sensory skills, including good eyesight, hearing, and dexterity, are needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support peak business needs.
• Ability to consistently lift 10–35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 55 pounds.
• Ability to push or pull more than 55 pounds.
• Strong sensory skills, including good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity.
• Ability to walk and stand constantly and bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
