About The Position

The Store Associate is a customer-focused role in a retail setting, working independently and as part of a team to support customers’ needs and CVS Health’s services. The role provides an opportunity to contribute to a connected and compassionate health experience while supporting store operations and, when needed, pharmacy personnel.

This part-time position is anticipated to work 20 hours weekly. The typical pay range is $17.00–$24.00 per hour; the actual offer depends on factors such as experience, education, and geography. Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods.
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 pounds occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects, including overhead lifting.
• Close visual acuity to view a computer terminal, read, and inspect small parts or details.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, but not required).

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating care, and identifying and resolving potential service issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and help customers locate items when needed.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support store opening and closing activities when needed.
• Support all departments, including photo and beauty, by helping ensure they are stocked and operational and staying current with updated services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular pharmacy shifts as an opportunity for growth and career development.
• Advocate for CVS services and loyalty programs.
