About The Position

The Store Associate is a customer-focused retail role at CVS Health that supports store operations and helps customers with their shopping and health-related needs. Associates work independently and as part of a team, providing compassionate service and contributing to a convenient and supportive customer experience. The role may also provide opportunities to assist pharmacy personnel and work shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development.

This is a part-time position with an anticipated schedule of 15 hours per week. The stated pay range is $15.00 to $19.00 per hour. The position requires applicants to be at least 16 years old. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.

The role involves remaining on your feet for sustained periods, occasionally lifting or exerting up to 35 pounds, frequently up to 10 pounds, and performing close-vision tasks such as viewing a computer terminal and inspecting small details. Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Ability to remain upright on your feet for sustained periods.
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently, with negligible force regularly, including overhead lifting.
• Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal and inspecting small parts or details.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and identifying and resolving potential service issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and offer assistance locating items.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support store opening and closing activities when needed.
• Support all departments, including photo and beauty, by helping ensure they are stocked and operational and staying current with updated services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as opportunities arise.
• Promote CVS services and loyalty programs that support customers’ health.
