About The Position

Shoe Carnival is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic Store Associate who enjoys helping customers and creating positive shopping experiences. The role involves assisting customers with shoes and accessories, operating the register, sharing promotions and the Shoe Perks program, and supporting store presentation, cleanliness, and loss prevention. The position offers part-time hours in a fun, fast-paced retail environment, with on-the-job training and opportunities to grow.

Requirements

• Great communication and listening skills.
• Strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to count cash and perform basic math accurately.
• Comfortable working on your feet and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach for merchandise during shifts.
• Able to move quickly in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find shoes and accessories.
• Operate the register, handle cash, give change, and process returns.
• Use basic math and counting skills to complete transactions.
• Share promotions and the Shoe Perks program with customers.
• Keep displays neat, organized, and well-stocked.
• Support loss prevention and store cleanliness.
