About The Position

This role involves various opportunities within different departments of the grocery store, including Deli, Produce, Center Store (Grocery, Frozen Dairy, HBC/GM, Natural and Organic), Guest Services, Bakery, Meat, and Wine and Spirits. Leadership roles are also available.

Requirements

Passion for guest service.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in food service, cooking, retail, restaurants, as a chef, in fast food, or grocery is a plus for Deli roles.
Interest in learning more about fresh produce.
Enjoy engaging with guests for Center Store roles.
Love interacting with people and providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment for Guest Services roles.
Pastry, bakery, or chef experience is a plus for Bakery roles.
Butcher, meat carver, or meat cutter experience is a plus for Meat roles.
Interest in learning more about the meat department.
Looking for a job with lots of guest interaction for Wine and Spirits roles.
Interest in a store leadership role.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Involvement with many aspects of cooking and guest service in the Deli department.
Creating many items right in the store's Deli.
Working with fresh produce, creating colorful displays, and learning about fruits and vegetables in the Produce department.
Keeping aisles fully stocked for guests, checking expiration dates, and restocking shelves in Center Store.
Providing a lasting impression on guests as a Cashier, Bagger, Cart Runner, Customer Service Representative, or in Pricing at Guest Services.
Using creativity and passion for baking to craft made-from-scratch items in the Bakery.
Working hands-on with a fresh variety of meat products, providing service and guest interactions at the counter in the Meat department.
Gaining knowledge about wines, liquors, and spirits, working one-on-one with guests to answer questions and offer recommendations in Wine and Spirits.
Serving and supporting associates with leadership skills in store leadership roles.
