Pay: $23.26 - $29.52 / hr Schedule: Mon - Fri; day shift Location: Redwood City, CA | EA office What this job involves: The Store Associate manages comprehensive retail operations for our client's onsite and online Company Store, serving as the primary point of contact for merchandise sales, inventory management, and order fulfillment. Delivers exceptional customer service while operating point-of-sale systems, coordinating vendor relationships, and maintaining visual merchandising standards that bring the company's brand and culture to life for employees and visitors at their corporate headquarters. What your day-to-day will look like:

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of retail, customer service, or store operations experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience with digital collaboration tools (Outlook, Slack) and retail systems (POS, inventory management, or e-commerce platforms like Shopify)
  • Proven organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work both independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capability to lift 30+ pounds regularly
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding, personalized service to all store visitors and online customers
  • Operate point-of-sale systems efficiently and accurately for in-store transactions
  • Respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and create a welcoming, engaging environment
  • Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability
  • Receive, inspect, and process shipments; conduct regular inventory counts
  • Maintain organized stockrooms and replenishment schedules
  • Identify reorder needs and coordinate with vendors proactively
  • Process online orders with precision: pick, pack, and prepare for shipment
  • Generate shipping labels and collaborate with the Mail Center on logistics
  • Coordinate orders and track fulfillment across multiple U.S. store locations
  • Design and maintain visually compelling merchandise displays
  • Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and brand-consistent presentation
  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the shopping experience
  • Generate sales and inventory reports using Shopify dashboards
  • Track store budget performance under guidance from the store manager
  • Manage vendor relationships, communication, and follow-up
  • Document and propose enhancements: new merchandise ideas, store updates, online improvements
