About The Position

As a Store Associate, you’ll play a key role in keeping the thrift store running smoothly, creating a welcoming shopping experience, and connecting community members with valuable resources and support.

Requirements

Minimum: high school diploma or GED
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Solid math skills and comfort handling transactions
Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Positive attitude with flexibility in a fast-paced environment
Passion for community service and making a difference

Nice To Haves

Experience in a retail or thrift store environment, including knowledge of store operations and customer service.

Responsibilities

Process sales, handle payments, follow procedures, and support donation intake by sorting, pricing, and preparing items.
Maintain a clean, organized store and assist with displays.
Provide friendly service, assist with purchases and donations, and share resource information.
Work with volunteers by guiding tasks and assisting with onboarding and training.
Receive donations, provide receipts, and ensure items are sorted and displayed properly.
Track sales, complete deposits, and keep records accurate and up to date.
