About The Position
Ace Liquor Discounter is seeking a motivated and dependable Sales Associate to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, as comprehensive training will be provided. The position offers a great opportunity for someone who enjoys customer service, teamwork, and working in a fast-paced environment. The Sales Associate will support daily store operations by ensuring excellent customer experiences and maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant store environment.
Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset
- Valid ProServe Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift
- Reliable, positive, and willing to support the team to meet shared goals
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations
- Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts
- Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks
- Check customer ID to verify legal purchasing age
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment
