About The Position

The Store Associate works in a customer-focused retail setting, both independently and as part of a team, helping customers and supporting store operations. The role contributes to CVS Health’s efforts to provide a connected, convenient, and compassionate health experience. The position may also involve assisting pharmacy personnel and working regular pharmacy shifts as an opportunity for growth and career development.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Remain upright on the feet for sustained periods.
• Occasionally lift or exert up to 35 lbs of force, frequently up to 10 lbs, and regularly a negligible amount, including overhead lifting to move objects.
• Have close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visually inspecting small parts or details.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and identifying and resolving potential service issues.
• Greet customers warmly and help them locate additional items when needed.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support store opening and closing activities when needed.
• Support all departments, including photo and beauty, by keeping them stocked and operational and staying current with updated services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy.
• Promote CVS services and loyalty programs that support customers on their path to better health.
