About The Position

The Store Associate works in a customer-focused retail setting, both independently and as part of a team, to support customers’ needs and contribute to CVS Health’s healthcare and retail services. The role provides an opportunity to help customers, maintain store operations, and support other departments, including photo, beauty, and pharmacy. Associates may work regular pharmacy shifts as an opportunity for growth and career development.

The position is full time, with 40 anticipated weekly hours. The typical pay range is $15.00–$19.00 per hour. The actual offer depends on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant considerations. Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Ability to remain upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods.
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 pounds occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects, including overhead lifting.
• Close visual acuity to view a computer terminal, read, and perform visual inspections involving small parts or details.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and identifying and resolving potential service issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and offer help locating items when needed.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support store opening and closing activities when needed.
• Support all departments, including photo and beauty, by helping ensure they are stocked and operational and staying current with updated services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular pharmacy shifts as opportunities for growth and career development.
• Promote and advocate for CVS services and loyalty programs.
