About The Position

The Store Associate role focuses on maintaining the overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver Brand Promises. This role involves providing friendly customer service, assisting customers in navigating the store and finding products. Responsibilities include collecting and disposing of trash, dusting and mopping floors, moving equipment and products for cleaning, and preparing cleaning solutions. The associate will deep clean key areas such as bathrooms and breakrooms, maintain cleaning equipment, and proactively identify areas needing attention. The role also involves completing assigned tasks, adhering to federal, state, and county guidelines, and maintaining positive interactions with team members and customers. Additional duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, handling cash, promoting the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, assisting with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, Ship from Store), participating in truck un-loads and stocking, supporting shrink and safety programs, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.

Requirements

Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
Ability to move throughout the store.
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals.
Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Nice To Haves

Retail experience preferred.
Cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
Collect and dispose of trash.
Dust and damp mop floors.
Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and placement.
Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
Prepare cleaning solutions.
Deep clean key areas of the store (bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways, high traffic areas).
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly.
Notify supervisor of supply needs.
Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
Provide a fast and friendly check out experience.
Execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
Execute Company policies and standards.
