About The Position

Completes deliveries and pick-up of parts and materials as requested. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Deliver parts and equipment to customers and vendors as directed. Pick up parts and equipment from customers and vendors as coordinated through Parts Manager. Sort transfers as requested by Parts Manager. Assist the parts counter when needed. Ensure all paperwork is done accurately, timely and efficiently. Clean and maintain vehicle used for deliveries. Wash and clean machinery as assigned. Assists in maintaining shop area in an organized and clean manner. Communicate vendor or customer requests and concerns to management. Responsible for the upkeep of the facility location, including mowing, spraying, and general upkeep. Backup to the Shuttle driver. Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company safety program at all times. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Customer Service Responsibilities: Ensure every customer is satisfied with the products, services and support of all staff. Resolve customers concerns efficiently and effectively. Promote a positive attitude at all times. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Exhibit Birkey's high level of customer service on a daily basis. Acknowledge appreciation of clients and customer. This organization reserves the right to revise the essential position functions as the need arises.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Able to set work priorities and work independently in the absence of supervision.
  • Able to understand and carry out oral and written directions.
  • Ability to maintain high degree of motivation in team members to retain focus of providing highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Minimum of six months of related experience.
  • Steady work record.
  • Must be able to perform each of the essential position functions.
  • Ability to get around the dealership and grounds for various tasks.
  • Ability to operate equipment or other power equipment as necessary.
  • Meet health assessment requirements.
