The Storage Specialist (internally known as Proud Organizer of Parts) is responsible for optimizing workflows by ensuring inventory is in the right storage location, establishing forward location inventory levels and maintaining forward replenishments. This specialist will play a key role in maintaining the quality and accuracy of Parts Town’s genuine OEM part inventory. Storage specialist will perform an essential function here at Parts Town making sure our inventory is stored in safe locations that promote operational efficiency.

Requirements

Strong problem solving, attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
Adaptable and thrive within quickly changing environments
Ability to move around for long periods of time and consistently lift up to 40lbs unassisted
Fantastic communication skills & proficient in English (verbal and written)
Vehicle certified or willing to be certified
Looking to work 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (CST) Monday through Friday and able to work Saturdays when needed

Responsibilities

Assist in planning inventory storage and optimizing DC picking and put away flows
Investigate inventory discrepancies, cycle count, and reconcile inventory inaccuracies
Identify and relocate unsafe products and move inventory to safer and more efficient locations
