About The Position

Performs activities related to operation and maintenance of storage facilities. This role involves rotating shift work at a storage facility and requires the ability to operate and maintain equipment, perform measurement activities, and ensure facility appearance and quality control. Responsibilities may include operating engines, gas compressors, and gas dehydration equipment, as well as monitoring pressure and equipment operation. The role also includes driving and ensuring maintenance of company vehicles, and reading/recording information from various devices. This position may involve Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions and requires the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions where impaired performance could result in serious injury or property damage.

Requirements

  • Training and experience relative to: Company and governmental operating/safety procedures
  • Training and experience relative to: Gas system/liquid pipeline maintenance operations
  • Training and experience relative to: Storage well injection and withdrawal
  • Training and experience relative to: Construction and maintenance activities
  • Training and experience relative to: Characteristics of products handled
  • Ability to operate and maintain underground storage facility
  • Ability to apply basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to travel over uneven terrain including but not limited to: mud, gravel, sand, rocks, ice and/or snow
  • Ability to work in confined areas
  • Ability to react immediately to emergency situations to prevent injury to self and others
  • Ability to detect and react to warning signals at work sites
  • Ability to operate tools and equipment as required
  • Possess applicable driver's license if assigned a company vehicle
