The Storage Manager is responsible for financial P&L management of storage projects from RFQ through final invoice, maintaining and developing key customer accounts. This role involves fostering an environment of teamwork, compliance, and continual improvement, while adhering to the company's objectives in Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Information Security. The manager will ensure compliance with company and department standard operating procedures and work closely with the sales team to identify customer opportunities and manage the development of commercial proposals. They will provide commercial and project management support during the inquiry to billing phases of customers' equipment stored at MCO-I, and plan, schedule, and coordinate inspection work scope with clients. The role also includes preparing work scope execution job books, coordinating customer visits, reviewing job books with engineering, preparing job reports, and managing the customer setup process. Additionally, the Storage Manager performs margin workups, acknowledges orders, organizes project documents, assists in finalizing terms and conditions, performs project commercial releases, books orders in SAP, closes commercial projects, prepares and submits invoices, tracks invoices, submits storage accrual requests, processes payments, and closes SAP-SD sales orders. The position also involves developing and supporting the commercial strategy for Storage, increasing customer satisfaction, resolving contract and commercial operations issues, building customer relationships, answering customer inquiries, managing and supporting the team, consulting with clients, providing leadership, developing and achieving SMART goals, conducting performance reviews, ensuring compliance with business goals and safety requirements, monitoring market conditions, maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings, attending production meetings, and identifying training opportunities. The role also includes assisting with monthly closing efforts and collection processes. The Storage Manager is responsible for cost controlling and performance analysis of projects, all storage commercial functions (including contract review, T&C review and negotiation), commercial reporting and controlling tasks, assisting with monthly project margin reviews, monitoring storage capacity, assisting in annual budget creation and financial reporting, managing storage execution teams, coordinating with FS PM's and storage clerks for accurate recordkeeping, managing and reporting department KPIs, maintaining a storage tracker, analyzing processes for efficiency and profit improvement, attending training, and performing other assigned duties.
