About The Position

We are seeking a Lead Storage Engineer to join our team supporting the Department of Transportation. This role involves managing storage architecture, backup, and data replication, ensuring compliance with retention and DR policies. The engineer will administer SAN/NAS environments, maintain storage capacity plans and performance metrics, and support continuity of operations (COOP) and DR testing.

Requirements

7–10 years in storage engineering.
Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations.
Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.
NetApp NCIE or Dell EMC Storage Engineer certification.
ITIL v4 certification.
Bachelor’s in computer science or information technology.
Public Trust clearance.
U.S. Citizen
