In this role, you'll help customers with truck, trailer, self-storage, and U-Box rentals, assist customers in our retail showroom, and help keep our Center clean, organized, and ready to welcome the next customer. Requirements

A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
A friendly, dependable attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
A willingness to learn new technology and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Create a friendly, welcoming experience by assisting customers during their visit.
Help customers find the right trucks, trailers, self-storage, moving supplies, and U-Box solutions for their needs.
Use U-Haul's mobile technology to complete rentals, returns, and inventory management.
Prepare U-Haul trucks and trailers for customer rentals by positioning equipment and assisting customers with trailer hook-ups.
Inspect, clean, and prepare rental equipment, including checking basic fluid levels, to ensure it's ready for the next customer.
Process rental agreements, returns, and payments while providing outstanding customer service.
Answer customer questions and recommend products and services that best fit their moving and storage needs.
Continue learning new skills through paid training and ongoing education with U-Haul University.
As you grow in the role, you'll have opportunities to learn additional skills such as trailer hitch installation, propane dispensing, and forklift operation through company-provided training and certification.
Perform other duties that help keep the center clean, organized, and ready to serve our customers.
