About The Position
As a Storage Center Assistant Manager, you will work along the side of the General Manager, frequently be responsible for the day-to-day operations of your storage center, working as part of an excellent team and learning valuable skills to get your career moving. In exchange, you will enjoy excellent benefits in this rewarding position as part of a growing company. This position requires a two-person team to live on site in an apartment provided by U-Haul. While one of you manages the rental facility, the other can work alongside as the Assistant Manager.
Requirements
- Driver’s license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- An eye for detail
Responsibilities
- Handle transactions, storage rentals and customer service.
- Keep regular, detailed and complete records.
- Ensure cleanliness and security of the storage site.
- Assist the storage center manager with directing and motivating center personnel.
- Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
