About The Position

National Vision is seeking an organized and efficient Stockroom/Warehouse Associate to join their team on a full-time basis in Salt Lake City, United States. In this role, the associate will play a crucial part in maintaining warehouse operations and ensuring smooth inventory management. The position is for a full-time night shift, with two shift options: A Shift (Sunday through Tuesday, 4:00 pm - 4:30 am) and B Shift (Wednesday through Friday, 4:00 pm - 4:30 am). The starting pay is $17.05/hour, with potential for production bonuses and overtime.

Requirements

• Can read and write English proficiently.
• Are detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Can frequently lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Are able to perform continuous walking, standing, and repetitive hand movements, including reaching above and below shoulder level, with occasional bending and twisting.

Nice To Haves

• Optical or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prints orders from DVI, edits for errors, sorting lenses by material and marries the jobs to the correct trays for processing.
• Picks frames and lenses by locating bin number on the Rx, scans barcode on tray and frame.
• Takes lenses out of manufacturer’s box and places on the correct side of the tray for processing.
• Pre-inspects lenses for visual imperfections and sends defects back to manufacturer.
• Researching order failures.
• Matches invoices to trays.
