About The Position

The Stockroom Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing inventory, purchase orders, and the receiving process. This role involves ensuring inventory accuracy through cycle counts and managing item issues and returns. Additionally, the clerk will coordinate inter-plant transfers, manage obsolete parts, oversee the physical storeroom, manage the kitting process, and handle internal and external rebuilds. The position requires flexible hours.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
  • Experience with iMaint CMMS.
  • Ability to manage inventory transactions.
  • Experience with physical inventory management and cycle counts.
  • Familiarity with purchase order management.
  • Ability to coordinate inter-plant transfers.
  • Understanding of obsolete parts management.
  • Experience managing a physical storeroom, including security.
  • Experience with kitting processes.
  • Ability to manage internal and external rebuilds.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with UPS, FedEx, Maintenance, Production, Shipping/Receiving (Warehouse), Quality, Sanitation and Storeroom related items.
  • Experience with Bill of Ladings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Inventory: Add new parts, recommend spare parts, add barcodes, attach item pictures, determine reorder points (Min/Max), and receive parts into iMaint CMMS.
  • Manage Purchase Order Backlog: Review open purchase orders and contact suppliers for parts/purchase orders older than 60 days.
  • Manage Receiving Process: Handle paperwork for inventory parts and supplies, receive parts and supplies into iMaint, partner with finance on invoicing approvals, receive various types of shipments, and issue/track Bill of Ladings.
  • Ensure Inventory Accuracy: Manage physical inventory, create and conduct physical cycle counts, and run inventory reports to analyze metrics.
  • Manage Item Issues/Returns: Help customers locate parts, manage inventory transactions, issue parts through iMaint, evaluate item usage, return items to work orders, and look for vendor buyback opportunities.
  • Manage Work Requests/Work Orders: Create work orders to support parts transactions out of the stockroom.
  • Coordinate Inter-Plant Transfers: Collaborate on interplant inventory transactions.
  • Manage Obsolete Parts: Conduct 5-year inactive reviews, investigate internal transfers, initiate vendor buyback processes, and follow scrap processes.
  • Manage Physical Storeroom: Ensure cleanliness, manage storeroom security, run reports, and manage plant shipping and receiving.
  • Manage Kitting Process: Run kitting reports, issue parts to planned work orders, and secure planned parts to kit racks.
  • Manage internal and external rebuilds: determine part status, Find repair WO, physically receive part back into storeroom, process repair WO, track rebuild savings.
