About The Position

Kalitta Turbines is an FAA-certified repair station that has maintained, serviced, and repaired TFE731 and CF34-3 turbine engines since 1986. With deep technical expertise and an extensive parts inventory, we help keep essential aircraft operational through reliable, responsive, and scheduled turbine maintenance support. Kalitta Turbines is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Stockroom Associate to support shipping, receiving, inventory control, shelf stocking, purchasing support, repair parts processing, and safe storage of spare parts. This role is an important part of keeping aircraft maintenance operations moving efficiently by ensuring parts are accurately received, labeled, stored, counted, and shipped.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and an acceptable driving record, as required for job-related driving duties.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform job duties safely and accurately.
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, packaging, inventory, warehouse, stockroom, aviation parts, or related work preferred.
  • Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Excel preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-employment screening, which may include a DOT/FAA-compliant drug screen, background check, and other checks required by applicable law, regulation, or company policy.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, process, and store incoming parts inventory accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare, package, and coordinate outgoing shipments, including repair parts and inventory shipments through carriers such as FedEx and UPS.
  • Stock inventory on shelves.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized stockroom and shipping areas.
  • Monitor and replenish shipping supplies, including boxes, labels, packaging materials, and related items.
  • Perform cycle counts, verify inventory accuracy, and re-label inventory as needed.
  • Identify and promptly report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or process concerns to the Stockroom Manager.
  • Use basic computer systems and Microsoft Excel, as needed, to support inventory and shipping processes.
  • Follow company procedures, safety standards, confidentiality expectations, and all applicable aviation maintenance requirements.
