About The Position
Our Greenlawn, NY site has an exciting opportunity to join our Logistics Team. We are looking for a highly motivated person to work in our stockroom. This position does not require the use of forklifts. This position provides room for career growth within and beyond the Greenlawn Logistics Dept. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 1 year work experience or equivalent experience
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Valid driver's license to operate company van
- Ability to obtain Secret Level Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship Required
Nice To Haves
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with Oracle ERP
Responsibilities
- Put away material into designated locations
- Using Oracle ERP, process inventory transactions
- Perform cycle counts of inventory
- Respond to internal customer requests for material
- Pull material for work orders and stage for production
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.
- Use of Microsoft Office 365 and Teams for admin and communication to customers and peers
