About The Position

The Stockroom Clerk assists with inventory and material handling across product categories, including aluminum, Inconel, and finished goods. The role supports work orders by locating, counting, packaging, labeling, and issuing parts; maintaining inventory accuracy; and moving materials to work cells or remote stocking locations. The employee may lead teams during inventory-focused events, share knowledge with operations and setup personnel, and help develop methods to improve productivity and quality. Duties may include other work consistent with the Stock Room.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of related experience.
• Experience managing people and implementing processes.
• Positive teamwork attitude and great attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in warehouse work, stocking, cycle counts, packaging, labeling, loading, scanning, picking, packing, or counting.
• Manufacturing or aerospace experience.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of general workshop tools, parts handling, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Determine stockroom locations of parts required to fill work orders received from planners.
• Count, package, and label parts required for work orders with a high degree of accuracy.
• Make system transactions to remove parts from stock and issue them to work orders.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
• Investigate inventory fallout.
• Move materials within the stockroom and to work cells or remote stocking locations.
• Act as team leader during events focused on inventory.
• Share knowledge with operations and other setup personnel as directed.
• Assist the department in developing techniques to increase productivity and quality.
• Apply good housekeeping principles when completing assigned duties.
• Perform other duties consistent with Stock Room as assigned.
