About The Position

The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for receiving merchandise and verifying orders against purchase orders, lifting and transporting boxes to designated warehouse areas, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and order. This role also involves supporting the sales team, preparing customer pick-up orders, and assembling/disassembling/wrapping merchandise for display. Additionally, the clerk will periodically verify the stability of merchandise on display.

Responsibilities

• Receiving the merchandise and verifying the order conforms with the purchase orders
• Lifting boxes, transporting and placing the merchandise in the designated areas of the warehouse
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in the warehouse
• Supporting the sales team
• Preparing customer pick-up orders
• Assembling and/or unwrapping merchandise for display
• Disassembling and/or wrapping merchandise on display
• Periodically verifying the stability of merchandise on display
