About The Position

Emerald Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Stockroom Associate to join its Saline team! In this role you will assist in various tasks including kitting materials, conducting cycle counts, inventory storage, investigating discrepancies, prompt delivery of shop supplies and repair parts, along with supporting purges and reclasses. Your meticulous attention to detail and collaborative approach will contribute directly to maintaining accurate inventory levels and supporting our manufacturing processes. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills, able to efficiently navigate systems and input data; familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with team members and follow instructions from management.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or similar environment is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management principles and practices, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the accurate assembly of materials for production orders under the guidance of the Stockroom Manager.
  • Participate in timely delivery of shop supplies and repair parts to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. Maintain accurate inventory records to facilitate efficient ordering and replenishment processes.
  • Participate in routine cycle counting activities to maintain accurate inventory records and assist in resolving discrepancies as directed.
  • Create and apply labels for materials and assemblies to ensure proper identification and traceability, along with data collection for traceability needs.
  • Contribute to maintaining organized stockroom operations to optimize space utilization and facilitate efficient material flow.
  • Assist in processing the purging and reclassification of materials as instructed to ensure quality standards and efficient inventory management.
  • Collaborate with and support the Stockroom Manager and team members to achieve departmental goals to satisfy operational requirements.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment within the stockroom.
