About The Position

We are looking for a Stockroom Associate to join our team at Bluefors in Syracuse, NY. In this role, you will support our manufacturing operations by receiving, organizing, and moving materials, parts, and supplies throughout the facility. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One to three months of related experience or training preferred
  • Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience working with an ERP system preferred
  • Familiarity with FIFO inventory management practices preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts, chain hoists, hand trucks, and similar equipment
  • Customer-service mindset and ability to support internal production teams
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities
  • Commitment to safety and alignment with company Leadership Principles and workplace competencies
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming deliveries from parcel and common carriers
  • Verify shipment contents, part numbers, quantities, and purchase order information
  • Identify and document damaged materials and notify appropriate teams
  • Use the ERP system to pick and issue materials for production
  • Deliver parts and bins to production teams throughout the manufacturing area
  • Use hand scanners to issue and transfer materials as needed
  • Support First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory practices
  • Communicate current and potential stock-outs to appropriate teams
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse according to department guidelines
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
