Requirements

  • Successfully completed High School or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience
  • Hold a valid driver's license
  • Must be available to work days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Comfortable working with numbers
  • Able to use a computer and navigate through various software
  • Must have effective communication skills and the ability to interact with other departments, employees, and supervisors
  • Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment
  • Complete all OS (Operational Standards) training as outlines in the Control Manual (during probation period)
  • Must obtain a Restricted Area Pass (during probation period)
  • Must obtain an Airside License (during probation period)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations depending on the work location.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of aircraft parts preferred and knowledge of common hardware essential
  • Previous warehouse, supply chain, logistics and supply and/or airline experience is an asset
  • Forklift experience an asset

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily auditing, shipping, receiving, inspection, issuing, order processing, unserviceable processing and stocking of inventory.
  • Ensure daily KPI’s are met
  • Coordinate delivery of AOG’s (Aircraft on Ground), including customs clearance of AOG parts after hours when needed.
  • Action reports i.e., Time expired material, issued out parts/tooling & wheel rotation
  • Handle and ship dangerous goods.
  • Understanding of customs regulations and prepare shipping documentation
  • In addition to Aircraft Maintenance, support all branches in and around the airport as required
  • Monitor and maintaining inventory to right levels
  • Ensure Air Canada corporate guidelines and policies are always adhered to while working in a safe manner. Maintain compliance with work safety standards.
  • Ensure that housekeeping standards are maintained as per health & safety guidelines
  • Be initiative-taking while managing workload and priorities
  • Monitor temperature & humidity of storage areas
  • Collect/deliver aircraft parts to from Cargo – On or off airport property
  • Create repair orders & ship items via outside couriers directly to vendors
  • Other related duties as assigned
