This position is part of the Food & Nutrition Services - Kitchen department and involves receiving, issuing, and storing supplies, materials, tools, and equipment in a stockroom. The role requires assisting in a large stockroom and performing routine clerical record-keeping work.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Ability to understand, read and write English
1 year of related experience
Ability to operate standard shipping/receiving/storeroom equipment such as fork trucks, hand trucks, delivery carts and baler
Ability to operate standard office equipment

Responsibilities

Receives, issues and stores supplies, materials, tools and equipment in a small stockroom or storeroom.
Assists in a large stockroom or storeroom.
Checks stock as it is received against the requisition or invoice.
Accounts for all supplies and stock issued.
Unpacks stock for storage and stores in specified manner.
Uses hand truck, electric fork truck, or cart to deliver or move materials.
Assists with inventory of stockroom.
Performs routine clerical record keeping work as required.
May perform other duties requiring comparable skill and responsibility as directed.
