About The Position

The Stockkeeper unloads, transports, and stocks chemical raw materials and packaging supplies in the Euclid Consumables Division. The position also handles finished goods and moves them from the manufacturing point to the Shipping Department. It reports to the Supervisor or Material Control Lead. Training is provided as directed by the Supervisor in conjunction with the Material Control Lead and experienced personnel.

Requirements

• Be self-motivated, safety- and quality-conscious, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Be able to read, write, and perform general math sufficiently to maintain job-related records.
• Be able to understand and interpret job-related specifications and procedures.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally.
• Be proficient in operating a forklift truck and a 6-ton bridge crane.
• Have strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, transport, and stock chemical raw materials and packaging supplies.
• Handle finished goods and move them from the manufacturing point to the Shipping Department.
• Perform all job tasks in compliance with Plant Rules and Regulations and work to improve employee safety.
• Understand and comply with the job’s Job Hazard Analysis.
• Follow quality specifications and procedures relevant to the job.
• Follow applicable company EHS procedures and safe equipment operating procedures, operating equipment only when guards are in place and in good condition.
• Notify the Supervisor or Material Control Lead promptly about safety hazards, malfunctioning equipment, or questions about EHS procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Material Control Lead.
