About The Position

All Store Team Members help build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. This role maximizes product inventory and supports online business operations to provide a positive shopping experience. Although merchandising is a primary focus, team members may also be assigned sales, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. Internally, the position is referred to as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. This is a seasonal, short-term position expected to last no longer than six months. Team members may apply for a non-seasonal role. Delivery duties apply if delivery is added as an essential job function.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of experience; at least 1 year in a retail setting preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Able to walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Able to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders; and lift 50 pounds overhead and repeatedly.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Greet customers, build relationships, and provide information about products and services to deliver exceptional, personalized service.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Follow applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally while following company policies, procedures, traffic laws, and safety laws.
