About The Position
This position is responsible for leading and developing teams, driving financial performance and sales, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The role involves coaching associates on customer service, operational processes, and merchandising. It also includes managing budgets, controlling expenses, and mitigating shrink to achieve sales and profit goals. The Stocking Coach provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management, while fostering a culture of belonging and continuous improvement. The role emphasizes acting with integrity, serving customers, and striving for excellence in all aspects of the job.
Requirements
- 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities
- Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
- Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
- Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
- Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
- Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and communicating expectations consistently and effectively.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Creates a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through a culture of belonging.
- Attracts and retains the best talent, empowers and develops talent, and recognizes others' contributions and accomplishments.
