About The Position

This position is responsible for leading and developing teams, driving financial performance and sales, providing supervision and development opportunities for associates, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The role involves modeling exceptional customer service, managing operational processes, and fostering a culture of belonging and continuous improvement. The Stocking Coach will also be responsible for recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential.

Requirements

  • 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
  • Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
  • Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  • Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
  • Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring associates, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, and providing associate recognition.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Creates a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through a culture of belonging.
  • Attracts and retains the best talent, empowers and develops talent, and recognizes others' contributions and accomplishments.
  • Acts in a selfless manner and is consistently humble, self-aware, honest, fair, and transparent.
