About The Position

This role leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. It involves touring stores, providing feedback, and communicating effectively with all levels of associates regarding store operations, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. The position introduces and leads company change efforts, provides clear expectations and guidance for implementing business solutions, and communicates business objectives to teams. The Stocking Coach drives financial performance and sales by reviewing Profit Loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. They ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes, while developing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. This role also provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset. They ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, and utilize the Open Door Policy. The role emphasizes respecting the individual by building high-performing teams, embracing differences, and creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected. Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities

  • Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating Profit Loss statements.

  • Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
