About The Position

This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, or tools, and compiling stock records. The role involves counting, sorting, or weighing incoming articles to verify receipt against requisitions or invoices, and potentially marking identifying codes. The Stocking Clerk operates a gas or electric-powered forklift to move, stack, tier, load, or unload materials, and is responsible for properly loading and operating the stress-relieving oven. Daily/weekly TPM tasks must be performed with accuracy and consistency. The role requires inventorying materials and supplying workers as needed, with knowledge of MRP transaction performance (issues, receipts). This position works under general supervision and requires six thousand (6,000) hours of experience to perform work proficiently. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor within the same salary grade or below.

Requirements

• Vocational or high school graduate or equivalent.
• Six thousand (6,000) hours experience required to perform work proficiently.
• Inventory Security Screening Required.
• Must be a sole US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, and issues equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, or tools and compiles stock records.
• Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices.
• Marks identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles.
• Operates gas or electric powered forklift truck to move, stack, tier, load, or unload materials.
• Properly loads and operates the stress relieving oven.
• Performs daily/weekly TPM tasks with accuracy and consistency.
• Inventories materials and supplies workers with materials as needed.
• Performs MRP transaction performance (i.e., issues, receipts).
• Performs other duties as designated by supervisor.
