About The Position

This role focuses on leading and developing teams effectively, driving financial performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The Stocking 2 Coach will be responsible for managing a specific store area, overseeing associates, and ensuring operational excellence. This includes training, feedback, customer issue resolution, financial management, merchandise presentation, and shrink mitigation. The position also involves developing associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and fostering a positive work environment. Compliance with company policies and values, as well as a commitment to integrity and customer service, are essential. The role emphasizes respect for individuals, acting with integrity, serving customers, and striving for excellence through continuous improvement and learning.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
  • Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates.
  • Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
