Stockhandler - full time and part time opportunities
About The Position
Full and part time opportunities Shift: Sunday - Friday, Noon - 8 p.m. Wage: $17.00/hr Premiums: $1.00/hr 2nd Shift Premium $1.00/hr Weekend Premium Position Analysis: • Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against packing slips or purchase orders • Unload, sort, and stock merchandise or materials in assigned locations • Maintain organized, clean, and safe stockroom or warehouse areas • Rotate stock according to company procedures (FIFO/lot control where applicable) • Pick, pack, and prepare items for internal use or outbound shipment • Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies or damaged goods • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (if certified) • Follow all safety, company, and quality control procedures • Communicate inventory needs or issues to supervisors or team members
Requirements
- Previous stockroom, warehouse, or inventory experience a plus
- Basic math and organizational skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Nice To Haves
- Forklift or equipment certification (preferred, not always required)
